This Privacy Policy explains how Austin Ventures LLC (“Austin Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or contact us about a property, whether you are selling or looking to buy. By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide to us, including:
- Your name, email address, and phone number;
- The address of your property and any details you share about it or your situation, or the kinds of properties you are interested in buying;
- Your choices about whether to receive text messages from us; and
- Any other information you include when you call, email, or message us.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may also automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running properly.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate your property;
- To schedule walkthroughs, prepare, present, and follow up on offers, and share property opportunities you have asked to hear about;
- To complete a purchase and closing if you accept an offer;
- To send text messages you have opted in to receive; and
- To operate, maintain, and secure our website, and to comply with legal obligations.
Mobile information and text messaging
Mobile Information. We collect mobile phone numbers to send you customer care messages (replies to your inquiry, scheduling property walkthroughs, and follow-ups and updates about your cash offer and closing) and marketing messages (new off-market investment property deals and other promotional offers) via SMS text message, with your consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at michael@austin-ventures.riyaplatforms.com or (202) 368-9141.
Customer care and marketing text message consent are collected separately, through separate, unchecked, optional checkboxes on our contact form. Opting in to one does not opt you in to the other. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for full program details.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to complete a transaction you have agreed to (for example, with the title company, settlement agent, or attorneys involved in a closing), with service providers who help us operate our business and are bound to protect it, or when required by law. In every case, the text messaging opt-in data and consent described above are excluded and are never shared with third parties.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.
Your choices
- You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
- You can ask us to stop contacting you by phone or email at any time.
Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised.
